Trackers

Tracker tags help you find keys, a wallet, a rucksack or a suitcase, and GPS devices can also follow a vehicle. Our range includes Bluetooth item finders and a GPS tracker. You will find products from Chipolo, SBS Mobile, Motorola, Apple and Samsung.

How to choose a tracker tag

Phone compatibility. Apple's Find My network works with iPhone, while Android phones need a tag that supports Google's Find Hub network. Some makers, such as Chipolo, offer separate versions for each system, so check which one a particular tag is built for before buying.

Bluetooth or GPS. A Bluetooth finder reports its location through nearby phones, so it works best where there are plenty of people around. A GPS tracker finds its own position, but it usually needs a SIM card or a subscription and has to be charged more often. Our range includes both types.

Bluetooth version. Our range includes models with Bluetooth 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6. A newer version generally means lower power use and a steadier connection, but it matters more that the tag works with your phone's network.

Water resistance. If the tag will hang on keys or a bag that often gets rained on, choose a model with an IP rating. Some of our tags are rated IP66, IP67 or IP68, and IP68 means the tag survives immersion in water under conditions set by the manufacturer.

Shape and battery. A key-ring tag, a thin card for a wallet and a universal tag suit different belongings. Many tags use a replaceable coin cell and some are rechargeable, so check how often you will need to look after the battery.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a Bluetooth tag and a GPS tracker?

A Bluetooth tag shows its location through nearby phones, while a GPS tracker works out its position itself. Bluetooth tags are smaller, their batteries last longer and they usually need no subscription. A GPS tracker makes sense when the item may be far from people.

Do tracker tags work with both Android and iPhone?

It depends on the model. Apple AirTag is made for iPhone, while Android phones need a tag that supports Google's Find Hub network. Some makers sell separate versions for each system, so check the supported network in the product description.

What is the range of a tracker tag?

A direct Bluetooth connection typically reaches a few tens of metres in open space, and walls and furniture shorten it. An item further away can still be found if a phone on the same network passes close to it. The exact range is given by the manufacturer.

Can I use a tag to track a car or a person?

A Bluetooth tag is meant for belongings, and a GPS device suits tracking a car better. Tracking a person without their knowledge is not allowed, so use tags only on your own items or where the person knows about it.
