The liquid cooling category covers CPU and GPU water blocks, radiators, pumps, reservoirs, fittings, tubing and coolants for building your own loop. Our range includes over 1000 products, with brands such as Alphacool, EK Water Blocks, Bitspower, Barrow and Thermal Grizzly. It suits enthusiasts who want quieter or more effective cooling than an air cooler offers.
How to choose liquid cooling
Ready-made or custom loop. A closed all-in-one kit installs quickly and needs no maintenance, while a custom loop lets you pick every part and cool the graphics card as well as the processor. The second route takes more planning and time, especially the first time.
Compatibility with your components. A CPU water block must match your socket, for example LGA1700 or AM5. A full-cover GPU block is made for a specific board design, so check the exact card model before buying, not just the chip name.
Radiator and case. Radiators are sized by fan count, most often 120, 240 or 360 mm, and by thickness. Check how much room is left in the case once fans, memory modules and the motherboard are in place. A larger surface lets the fans spin slower and quieter.
Fittings and tubing. Most manufacturers use a G1/4 thread, so parts from different brands often fit together. Soft tubing is easier to install, while rigid tubes look tidier but need bending or fittings matched to the outer diameter.
Metals and coolant. Avoid mixing copper and aluminium in one loop, as corrosion can shorten the life of the parts. Use the coolant recommended by the maker of your blocks and radiators.
Brands we carry
- Alphacool: a German manufacturer known for individual custom loop parts and expandable all-in-one kits.
- EK Water Blocks: a Slovenian manufacturer widely recognised for its CPU and graphics card water blocks.
- Bitspower: a Taiwanese manufacturer known for fittings, rigid tubing systems and decorative parts.
- Thermal Grizzly: a German manufacturer famous for thermal pastes and liquid metal used under a water block.
- Aqua Computer: a German manufacturer known for pumps, controllers and sensors that let you monitor the loop.
- XSPC: a British manufacturer known for radiators and ready-made kits for first-time builders.
- Lian Li and Phanteks: both make PC cases, so their cooling parts are designed with the space inside these cases in mind.
Also in our range: Barrow, Singularity, Darkflash and SilverStone.
Liquid cooling FAQ
Is liquid cooling better than air cooling?
Not always. Liquid carries heat from the processor or graphics card to a larger radiator, so the fans can run slower and quieter. The system is more complex, though, and a good air cooler is often enough for a computer under moderate load.
What do I need to build a custom liquid cooling loop?
You need at least a water block, a radiator with fans, a pump, a reservoir, tubing, fittings and coolant. The pump is often sold together with the reservoir. It is worth adding fill and drain fittings so that changing the coolant later is easy.
How often should I change the coolant?
Usually once every one to two years, but the coolant manufacturer gives the exact interval. Change it sooner if the liquid turns cloudy, changes colour or deposits appear in the loop.
Can I mix parts from different brands?
Yes, usually, because many fittings use the G1/4 thread. Still check the tubing diameter, the compatibility of the metals and whether the water block fits your processor socket or graphics card.
