Smart devices

The smart devices category covers 3D printers and filaments, drones, VR/AR glasses, electric scooters, robotic mowers, smart home products and diagnostic equipment. It suits home tinkerers and hobbyists. Most products come from LEGO, SYNERGY21, Märklin, Reely, Flashforge and DJI.

There are over 10,000 products in total, including model-making kits and remote-controlled models.

How to choose a smart device

Purpose. Start by deciding what you want to do: make things, fly, get around, run your home or build a model. The category mixes very different products, so purpose drives every other choice.

Connectivity and control. For smart home products, check which connections they support (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) and whether there is a phone app. For drones and remote-controlled models, check whether the controller, battery and charger are in the box.

3D printer and filament pairing. Most home printers use FDM technology and melt plastic filament, usually 1.75 mm in diameter. Look at the build area and the materials the printer supports: PLA works on almost every machine, while ABS or nylon needs higher temperatures and often an enclosed chamber.

Safety and rules. Before buying a drone or an electric scooter, read up on the rules for using it. A drone's weight and camera affect which rules apply, and for scooters it matters where you may ride and how fast.

Age and difficulty. For LEGO, Revell or Märklin sets, check the recommended age and the number of pieces. Complex models can take several hours, or a few evenings, to finish.

Frequently asked questions

Which 3D printer should a beginner choose?

A beginner is best served by an FDM printer with automatic bed levelling and clear software. When comparing models, look at the build area, the noise level and whether there is an enclosed chamber. Our range includes Flashforge and Creality printers.

Which filament suits a 3D printer?

PLA suits most FDM printers because it is easy to print and shrinks very little. PETG is tougher against knocks and moisture, while ABS needs higher temperatures and an enclosed chamber. Before buying, check the filament diameter and the printer maker's recommendations. Our filaments come from eSUN and Polymaker.

Do I need to register a drone?

Often yes, especially if the drone has a camera, but it depends on its weight and how you use it. Check the rules currently in force in Lithuania before your first flight. Our range includes DJI drones.

Does this category contain only smart devices?

No, it also holds model-making and hobby products. Alongside 3D printers, drones and smart home products you will find LEGO sets, Märklin model railways, Carrera tracks and Revell kits. In total the category has over 10,000 products.
