Laptop screens: replacement display panels for fixing a broken or cracked laptop screen. Our range includes over 30 products, mostly for ASUS, Lenovo, Acer and HP laptops. Most are the panels themselves, and there is also one screen cover.
How to choose a laptop screen
Exact model. The screen must match your laptop model, so start with the manufacturer, the model name and the code printed on the back of the old panel. Our range includes screens for ASUS, Acer, Lenovo and Fujitsu laptops. Even two similar models from one manufacturer can use panels with different connectors or mounting points.
Diagonal. It has to match the current screen, otherwise the panel will not fit the casing. The most common size in our range is 39.6 cm (15.6 in), and there are also 35.6 cm (14 in), 43.9 cm (17.3 in), 40.6 cm (16 in), 36.8 cm (14.5 in) and 33.8 cm (13.3 in) options.
Resolution. Most of our screens are Full HD (1920 x 1080). Sharper ones are available too: 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA), 2560 x 1440 (WQHD), 2560 x 1600, 2880 x 1620 and 2880 x 1800. The resolution should match the original, because otherwise the laptop may show a distorted picture or none at all.
Connector and panel features. Laptops often use a 30 or 40-pin connector, but this depends on the model, so compare it with your old panel. Also check whether the finish is matt or glossy, whether the panel is IPS or TN, and what the refresh rate is, for example 60 Hz or higher.

Frequently asked questions
How do I find out which screen fits my laptop?
Start with the exact laptop model, usually printed on a sticker on the underside, and if you can, the code on the back of the old panel. Compare these with the product description. A matching diagonal and resolution alone are not enough, because panels for different models can have different connectors.
Can I fit a screen with a different resolution?
It is usually best to choose the same resolution as the original. A panel with a different resolution may not work because of a different connector or video signal, and if it does, the picture may look wrong. Check that your model supports the variant before you order.
Can I replace a laptop screen myself?
On many models you can: remove the bezel, unscrew the panel and unplug the flat cable. Switch the laptop off and disconnect the power adapter first. If you have no experience, especially with thin or tightly glued casings, it is safer to use a repair service.
How do I tell that the screen needs replacing rather than another part?
If the picture is normal on an external monitor but the laptop's own screen shows spots, stripes or cracks, the screen or its cable is the likely cause. If there is no picture on the external monitor either, the fault is probably elsewhere, such as the graphics chip or the motherboard.
