How to choose shaver accessories
Compatibility. The part must match your exact shaver model. The model number is on the body or the box, and our product pages list the suitable models, such as Philips OneBlade or Braun Series 3 and Series 6. Similarly named series can use different heads, so check the full model code.
Type of part. A shaving head (foil together with a cutter block) is replaced when your skin starts to feel irritated or hairs are left uncut. Separate blades are for shavers where only the cutting element is changed, as with OneBlade. Cleaning cartridges and the cleaning station help look after the head but do not replace worn parts.
Number of heads. Our range includes packs with 1, 2, 3 or 4 heads. Rotary shavers usually have three shaving heads, so they need a matching set. Compare how many heads your shaver has with how many come in the pack.
Manufacturer system. Most accessories in our range are for Philips and Braun shavers, and universal parts are few. A part made for a specific manufacturer's system fits the shaver's mount exactly, so choose a universal option only when the description names your model.
How often to replace. Heads and blades wear with daily use. Replacing them roughly once a year is a common recommendation, but the shaver manufacturer gives the exact interval. If shaving feels slower, the shaver is noisier or your skin reacts more, it is time for new parts.
