Smart door locks, access control readers and controllers for homes, offices and businesses that need to manage who can enter and when. Our range has over 180 models, including YALE, NUKI and Aqara locks, as well as UBIQUITI, VERKADA and 2N access systems.
The locks suit flats and houses, while the access systems are built for staff and visitor entrances.
How to choose a smart lock or access control system
Door and lock type. Decide first whether you will replace the whole lock or simply fit a motor unit over your existing cylinder on the inside of the door. The second option is easier in a rented home because no drilling is needed. Measure the cylinder length and check the door thickness before buying.
Unlocking method. A phone app is convenient for a family, while a PIN code, card or key fob works better for guests and staff. A fingerprint reader is quick day to day, but you always want a backup such as a mechanical key.
Connectivity and integration. Bluetooth is enough to unlock when you are at the door, but controlling the lock from another city usually needs Wi-Fi or a separate bridge. If your home already runs on Zigbee or Apple Home, choose a lock that works with them. In an office, check whether the controllers connect by network cable and can be powered over PoE.
Power and emergency access. Many home locks run on batteries, so a low-battery warning matters. Check that there is a mechanical key or external contacts for briefly powering the lock if the batteries run out.
Home or business. A home needs only a few users and temporary codes for guests. A business needs many users, time-based access rules, an entry log and central management, so a system of controllers and readers makes more sense.

Frequently asked questions about smart locks
Are smart locks secure?
A good smart lock uses encrypted communication, but physical security still depends on the door and the cylinder. It cannot protect a weak door. Choose a model with updatable software and do not share access codes carelessly.
Can I fit a smart lock in a rented flat?
Yes, if you choose a model that attaches to the existing cylinder on the inside without drilling. When you move out, the original lock can be restored. It is still worth checking with your landlord.
What happens if the batteries die or the internet goes down?
Many locks unlock over a local connection such as Bluetooth, so only remote control stops working without internet. A low-battery warning normally appears well in advance. For emergencies, you need a mechanical key or external power contacts.
How is a smart lock different from an access control system?
A smart lock controls a single door and is usually meant for homes. An access control system consists of controllers, readers and shared software that manage the permissions of many people across several doors. It is worth considering when you have many entrances or need a precise entry log.
