The UPS accessories category holds over 25 products for expanding and maintaining uninterruptible power supplies. Typical accessories of this kind are battery modules, management cards, mounting kits and connecting cables. It suits home office, server room and small business users. You will find products from APC, Qoltec, Eaton, Ever and ABB here.
How to choose UPS accessories
Compatibility. Start with the manufacturer, model and series of your UPS. Battery modules, management cards and mounting kits usually fit only certain series, so compare your model name with the product description.
Batteries and runtime. A replacement battery needs the same voltage, a similar capacity (Ah) and the right connector type. Extra battery modules extend running time without mains power, but they also take longer to recharge after a discharge.
Operating environment. Operating temperature limits in our range vary: from 0 to 40 °C, from 5 to 40 °C, from -5 to 45 °C, and for some accessories as wide as -20 to 50 °C. Relative humidity for many products goes up to 95%. Batteries age faster in a hot room, so compare these limits with the place where the equipment will stand.
Management and installation. If you want to monitor the UPS remotely, look for a network management card that fits your model. For equipment in a rack, check that a kit is made for the 19-inch standard, and for cables and power distribution units pay attention to the connector type.

Frequently asked questions about UPS accessories
How do I choose the right UPS battery?
Find your UPS model first, then choose the battery or battery cartridge the manufacturer specifies for it. The key parameters are voltage, capacity and connector type. If you do not know the exact designation, you can find it on the old battery or on the UPS rating label.
When should a UPS battery be replaced?
A UPS battery usually needs replacing every few years, and the exact interval depends on temperature and the number of discharges. A clearly shorter runtime or a battery fault message from the UPS are signs that it is time. A warm environment shortens battery life.
Are UPS accessories from different manufacturers interchangeable?
Usually not, because management cards, battery modules and rack kits are designed for specific series. The exceptions are generic accessories such as standard power cables or network cables. Compare your UPS model with the product description before buying.
What is a UPS network management card for?
A network management card connects the UPS to your local network so you can monitor it remotely. Through it you can see the load and battery condition and receive alerts about mains power problems. This is especially useful in server rooms, where equipment must shut down safely.
