Video games

The Games category contains video games and related products for anyone looking for a new title for themselves or as a gift. Most items carry no manufacturer brand, and Nintendo is the leading named brand. You will also find products from Ukonic, Blade and Ready2Gaming. Our range has over 70 items.

How to choose a game

Platform. A game only works on the platform it was released for. Nintendo games are made for Nintendo consoles, while PC games need a suitable operating system and hardware that meets the requirements. Check the platform before buying, and for PC games check the minimum system requirements too.

Age rating. The PEGI label shows which age group the content suits (3, 7, 12, 16 or 18). When buying for a child, look at the rating first and only then at the genre or how well known the title is.

Genre and number of players. Adventure and role-playing games are usually built for one player, while racing, fighting and family party games often offer multiplayer. If you plan to play with friends on one screen, look for local multiplayer in the description and check whether extra controllers are needed.

Language. Many games have no Lithuanian translation, so check which languages the text and menus use. This matters most for children who do not yet read English.

Product type. Besides the games themselves, the category may include related items. Read the title and description to make sure you are buying a game and not an accessory for one.

Brands in our range

  • Nintendo: the Japanese company is known for its own franchises, such as Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda, which mostly appear only on Nintendo consoles.
  • Unbranded: most of the category consists of items with no manufacturer named, so it is worth checking the edition, platform and language in the product description.

Also in our range: Auerswald, Ukonic, Blade and Ready2Gaming products.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know whether a game will work on my console?

Look for the platform in the product title or description and compare it with your console. A game made for one console family generally will not run on another. If you are unsure about an older or newer console generation, check the manufacturer's compatibility information.

What does the PEGI label on a game mean?

PEGI is the European age rating system, and it shows from what age a game's content is considered suitable. The ratings are 3, 7, 12, 16 and 18. It rates content, not difficulty, so an easy game can still be meant for older players.

Can Nintendo games be played on consoles from other makers?

No, Nintendo games are made for Nintendo consoles and do not run on devices from other manufacturers. Many Nintendo franchises are released only for this platform. Before buying, check which Nintendo console the game is made for.

Can several people play the same game on one console?

Yes, if the game has a multiplayer mode. Some games can be played on one screen, while others need separate consoles or an internet connection. Look for the number of players and the mode in the description, and check that you have enough controllers.
