Gaming mouse pads, from small mats to long desk mats that fit both mouse and keyboard, for players who want precise and consistent mouse glide. Our range has over 400 models, including Sharkoon, White Shark, Subsonic, Razer and SteelSeries.
Many have a non-slip rubber base. Most surfaces are cloth, but PET and neoprene mats are available too.
How to choose a gaming mouse pad
Size. Choose by desk space and playing style. If you play at low mouse sensitivity and sweep your arm widely, you will need a larger mat. A long desk mat holds the mouse and keyboard together, while a smaller one suits a compact desk or players who move mainly from the wrist.
Surface. A cloth surface, which is what most of our range uses, generally gives more control and glides more quietly. A smoother surface such as PET lets the mouse move faster. There are also neoprene mats, which are soft and flexible, so they roll up or fold easily.
Base and edges. A rubber base stops the mat sliding across the desk, and it is part of many mats in our range. Some models add a foam layer to make the surface softer. Stitched edges stay neat for longer because the fabric is less likely to start fraying.
Colour and design. Most of the mats are black with a plain surface, but there are also designs with images and patterns, as well as red, blue, white and grey options. Light mats show dirt sooner, so a darker one keeps looking tidy for longer.

Frequently asked questions
What size gaming mouse pad should I buy?
Size depends on your desk space and mouse sensitivity. At low sensitivity your arm movements are wide, so a larger mat is the better choice. If you want the mouse and keyboard on one surface, choose a long desk mat.
What is the difference between a cloth and a plastic mouse pad?
A cloth mat generally offers more control and glides more quietly. A smoother plastic surface, such as PET, lets the mouse move faster. Which is better depends on your playing style and how you prefer to handle the mouse.
Does a gaming mouse pad work with any mouse?
Most optical and laser mice work on most mouse pads. Problems tend to appear only on very glossy or transparent surfaces, which the sensor reads less well. If you are unsure, check the recommendations from the mouse and mat manufacturers.
How do I clean a cloth mouse pad?
Usually it is enough to wash the mat in lukewarm water with mild soap and let it dry flat. Check the manufacturer's instructions before using a washing machine, as not every mat tolerates it. Avoid heating the rubber base, so dry the mat naturally rather than on a radiator.
