Office and call headsets are made for people who spend much of the day on phone calls, softphones and video meetings. Our range has over 1,100 models, mostly headsets with a microphone: wired, wireless and dual-mode. Leading brands include Jabra, Poly, Yealink, EPOS and Logitech.
How to choose an office or call headset
Connection type. Wired headsets plug into USB or a 3.5 mm jack and never need charging, so they suit a fixed desk with one computer. Wireless models let you walk around during a call, but they need charging and often a USB adapter. Our range includes wired, wireless and dual-mode headsets, plus a few true wireless (TWS) earbuds.
One ear or two. A monaural headset leaves one ear free, so you can hear what is happening around you. Binaural models block out more noise and suit open-plan offices and call centres. Both types are well represented in our range.
Microphone. A boom microphone sits close to your mouth, so it carries your voice more clearly and filters out more background noise than a built-in or in-line microphone. Most models in our range have a boom microphone, and some use built-in or in-line ones. In a noisy space, look for a model with a noise-cancelling microphone.
Wearing style and comfort. For long calls, a head-band design is usually the most comfortable because the pressure is spread evenly. Supra-aural (on-ear) cups are lighter, while circumaural (over-ear) cups isolate sound better. There are also in-ear, ear-hook and bone conduction models.
Compatibility. Check that the connector matches your equipment: USB-A or USB-C on a computer, a 3.5 mm jack, or a desk phone. If you work in Microsoft Teams or Zoom, look for models marked as compatible with those apps.

Frequently asked questions
Which headset should I choose for office work?
For most offices, a headset with a boom microphone is the best starting point, because it carries your voice more clearly. In an open-plan space, a binaural model with noise cancellation helps. If you need to hear colleagues, a monaural headset is the better fit.
Are wired or wireless headsets better for calls?
If you work at one computer, a wired headset is simpler because it never needs charging. Wireless is better when you move around during calls, for example to another room. Check the talk time per charge before buying.
Can I use an office headset for music?
Yes, binaural office headsets can play music, but their sound is tuned mainly for speech. If you listen to music often, choose a model designed for both calls and music. Our range includes such headsets.
How do I connect a call headset to my computer?
Connect a wired headset through USB or a 3.5 mm jack, depending on the model. Wireless headsets usually pair through the supplied USB adapter, and some also work over Bluetooth. On recent versions of Windows and macOS, USB headsets are normally recognised automatically.
