Speakerphones let several people take part in a call at once: USB and Bluetooth units with microphones for a computer or mobile, and conference phones for office telephone systems. Our range of over 90 products includes Jabra, Poly, Yealink, Konftel and Gigaset, so there are options for a single desk as well as for a small meeting table.
How to choose a speakerphone
Number of people and microphones. One microphone is enough for one or two people at a desk. If four to six people sit around a table, choose a unit with several microphones. Our range includes models with 1, 3, 4 and 6 microphones, and for a larger room it is worth checking the pickup range the manufacturer states.
Connection. Many models in our range connect both by cable and wirelessly: a USB cable gives a quick plug-in link to a laptop, while Bluetooth lets you pair a mobile. Check the USB connector type, as USB Type-A, USB Type-C and Micro-USB all appear. If your laptop has only Type-C ports and the speakerphone uses a Type-A cable, you will need an adapter.
Compatibility. Some units are made for a computer only, others for a mobile and a computer, and some are described as universal. Make sure the model works with the software you use, such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom. If you need a unit for an office telephone system, choose a conference phone built for that purpose rather than a plain USB speakerphone.
Sound quality and noise reduction. Noise reduction cuts keyboard clatter and background chatter, which matters most in open-plan offices. Better models let both sides speak at the same time without cutting each other off (known as full-duplex audio). Part of our range offers noise reduction.

Speakerphone FAQ
What is the difference between a speakerphone and a normal phone?
A speakerphone has a loudspeaker and sensitive microphones so that everyone around a table can hear the caller and be heard. A normal phone is designed for one person holding it to their ear. A speakerphone can sit in the middle of the table.
How many microphones does a speakerphone need?
One microphone is enough for one or two people. For four or more participants, a model with several microphones is better, as it picks up voices from different sides of the table. Our range includes models with 1, 3, 4 and 6 microphones.
Can a speakerphone connect to both a mobile and a computer?
Yes, if the model supports both USB and Bluetooth. You can then plug a computer in by cable and pair a smartphone wirelessly. Check the device type before buying, since some models are made for a computer only.
Will a USB speakerphone work with Teams or Zoom?
In most cases yes, because the computer recognises it as an ordinary audio device that can be selected in most video-calling apps. Some manufacturers also state official compatibility with a specific platform, so it is worth reading the specification.
