Presentation remotes are wireless clickers for changing slides, aimed at teachers, speakers and anyone leading meetings. Our range has over 50 models with a laser pointer, remote control or mouse function, including Logitech, Renkforce, Hama and BenQ.
How to choose a presentation remote
Connection. Most presenters connect through a USB receiver, which usually works without installing drivers. Some models use Bluetooth instead, which helps on thin laptops with no spare USB port. Check whether your computer has USB-A or only USB-C before you buy.
Wireless range. The ranges in our range run from 12 m to 100 m, and 15, 20 and 30 m are the most common values. For a small meeting room, 15 or 20 m is enough. A large lecture hall or stage calls for 30 m or more.
Functions. The simplest remotes only change slides. Others add a laser pointer, and some also work as a mouse so you can move the cursor. A laser pointer helps when you need to point at a detail on a large screen or projector image. If you mostly just advance slides, you can do without the mouse function.
Buttons and handling. Remotes in our range have anywhere from 3 to 9 buttons. Three or four are enough for changing slides and blanking the screen. More buttons make sense when you also want to control the cursor or volume. Choose a body you can operate by feel, without looking down at it.

Frequently asked questions
How does a presentation remote connect to a computer?
Most often you plug a small receiver into a USB port and the remote works straight away. Some models connect over Bluetooth and need no receiver. Check which connection the manufacturer specifies before you buy.
What wireless range do I need?
For a small room or training space, 15 or 20 m is enough. Larger auditoriums are better served by 30 m or more. Our range includes models from 12 m up to 100 m.
Do I need a laser pointer?
No, it matters only if you need to point at details on the screen. If you just change slides, a simple remote with a few buttons will do. A laser pointer is more useful in large rooms and when teaching.
Will a presenter work with PowerPoint and Keynote?
Most presenters send ordinary keyboard key signals to the computer, so they work with PowerPoint, Keynote and Google Slides. Extra features such as on-screen highlighting may need the manufacturer's software. Check that the model supports your operating system before buying.
