Fitness trackers are light wrist-worn devices that count steps, measure heart rate and log sleep and workouts. They suit anyone who wants a simpler screen than a smartwatch and longer use between charges. Our range has over 70 models, mostly from XIAOMI, HUAWEI, GARMIN, FITBIT and SAMSUNG.
How to choose a fitness tracker
Battery life. Most trackers last longer than smartwatches, but the gap between models is large. Some models in our range have a manufacturer-stated maximum of 312 hours (about 13 days), others 240 hours (10 days). Compare the stated battery life rather than the mAh capacity alone.
Screen and shape. Our range includes rectangular models with a 1.6-inch display and round ones with a 1.43-inch display. A rectangular screen is easier for reading notifications, while a round one looks more like a classic watch. Judge size and resolution together (for example 466 x 466 or 256 x 402 pixels), as they decide how sharp the text looks.
Sensors and sports features. Heart rate monitoring is common, but blood oxygen (SpO2) measurement, built-in GPS and water resistance vary. If you run or cycle and want to record a route without your phone, choose a model with GPS. Swimmers should look for a stated water resistance rating such as 5 ATM.
Phone compatibility. A tracker works through the manufacturer's app, so check that it supports your phone's operating system, Android or iOS. Some features may only work with certain phone brands.
Brands in our range

- GARMIN and POLAR: both specialise in sport and training-load analysis, and Garmin is also known for GPS devices and the Garmin Connect app.

Frequently asked questions about fitness trackers
What is the difference between a fitness tracker and a smartwatch?
A fitness tracker is slimmer and simpler, and its main job is tracking activity, heart rate and sleep. A smartwatch usually has a larger screen and more apps, but its battery typically lasts for a shorter time.
How long does a fitness tracker battery last?
It depends on the model. Some trackers in our range have a manufacturer-stated maximum of 240 hours (10 days) or 312 hours (13 days). Real-world use is shorter if you use GPS or keep the screen always on.
Does a fitness tracker work with both iPhone and Android?
Most trackers work with both systems, but you may get fewer features than with the manufacturer's preferred phone. Check the stated compatibility for your phone model before buying.
Can I swim with a fitness tracker?
Only if the manufacturer states sufficient water resistance, such as 5 ATM, and the tracker has a swimming mode. Resistance to splashes or rain does not mean the tracker is suitable for the pool.
