How to choose a phone case
Exact phone model. A case is made for one specific model: even a one-generation difference changes the camera cut-out and the button positions. Most cases in our range are for Apple and Samsung phones, with some for Xiaomi and the occasional universal case. If you use a magnetic wireless charger, check that the case is designed to work with it.
Case type. The back cover is the most common type in our range and adds little to the size of the phone. A folio case or a case with a card pocket also protects the screen, but it is thicker and not always comfortable to use one-handed. A wallet case makes sense if you want to carry a bank card without a separate wallet.
Protection. Cases in our range are described as scratch resistant, shock resistant or drop proof, and some are also dust resistant or have an anti-bacterial surface. Shock absorption mostly comes from reinforced corners and a slightly raised edge around the screen and camera, so the phone does not touch the surface when laid down. A very thin case mainly guards against scratches rather than drops.

Which case should I choose to survive a drop?
