Wall and USB chargers are made for charging phones, tablets, laptops and headphones from the mains, a car or another USB source. Our range has over 1,600 products: plug-in adapters with USB-A and USB-C sockets, multi-device models and car chargers. You will find products from Wentronic, Hama, Belkin, Samsung, Baseus and Anker.
How to choose a wall or USB charger
Power. A phone usually needs 20 to 30 W, a tablet 30 to 45 W, and a laptop often 65 W or more. A more powerful charger does not harm a device, because the device decides how much power it draws, so it is sensible to choose with a little headroom.
Fast charging. Nearly all chargers in our range that list this feature support fast charging. What matters is the standard: USB Power Delivery works with many phones, tablets and laptops, while some Samsung Galaxy phones also need PPS support for their fastest charging speed.
Number and type of ports. Many chargers have a single USB-C port, but there are models with two, three or four USB-C ports. Several ports are convenient, but the total power is usually shared when they are all in use, so a laptop and a phone charged together may get less than the figure on the box.
Power source and voltage. Wall models work across a 100 to 240 V input range, which suits most countries with just a plug adapter. Car chargers plug into the cigarette lighter socket, and if you drive a lorry, look for a model rated for both 12 and 24 V. Some chargers are also powered from USB.

Frequently asked questions
What wattage charger does a phone need?
Most modern phones are well served by a 20 or 30 W charger. Check the maximum charging power your phone supports, then choose a charger of the same or slightly higher output that uses the same fast charging standard.
Can I charge a laptop with a USB-C charger?
Yes, if the laptop charges over USB-C with USB Power Delivery. The charger should match or exceed the output of the original adapter, often 45 W, 65 W or more. A weaker charger will charge the laptop slowly, or only when it is switched off.
Can I use a charger from a different brand to my phone?
Yes, as long as the charger supports the standards your phone uses, such as USB Power Delivery. Some phones need the manufacturer's own standard for their fastest speed, so check the charger's specification.
Does fast charging damage the battery?
No, not when you use a suitable charger and cable. The phone limits the current as the battery fills, so the highest power is applied only at the start. Heat is harder on a battery, so do not cover the phone while it charges.
