Screen protectors for phones and other mobile devices: tempered glass protectors and films cut for specific models. The category suits anyone who wants to guard a screen against scratches and knocks. Our range has over 80 products, including PanzerGlass, Green Cell, Displex and Pedea.
How to choose a screen protector
Model compatibility. Protectors are cut for a particular model, so you need the exact name of your phone or tablet, not just the screen size. Even successive models from the same maker can differ in camera cut-out, corner curvature or sensor position.
Material. Tempered glass is thicker, absorbs impacts better and feels much like the original screen. Film is thin and flexible, easier to apply on curved displays, but it protects less against drops.
Edge coverage and cases. Many glass protectors cover only the flat part of the display and stop slightly short of the edges so they do not lift against a case. If you use a thicker case, choose a protector described as case-friendly.
Surface finish. A clear protector barely changes the picture. A matte one reduces reflections and fingerprints but makes the image a little less vivid. A privacy protector narrows the viewing angle so the screen cannot be read from the side.
Application. Protectors with an alignment frame or template are usually easier to fit straight and without air bubbles. Kits often include cleaning wipes and dust stickers, which help the first time you fit one.

Screen protector FAQ
Does a phone really need a screen protector?
It is not essential, but a protector costs far less to replace than a screen. It takes the scratches from keys, sand or coins in a pocket, and glass can sometimes absorb a knock that would otherwise crack the display. The risk is lower if the phone lives in a case and rarely shares a pocket.
What is the difference between tempered glass and film?
Glass is thicker and harder and protects better against impacts and scratches, while film is thinner and more flexible. Glass is more common for flat screens, whereas film can be easier on curved ones. Both guard against light scratches.
Will a protector work with a case?
Usually yes, but check that the protector does not extend right to the edge of the screen. One that is too large can press against the case and start to peel. With thicker cases, choose a protector described as compatible with cases.
How do I find the right protector for my phone?
Start with the exact model name, which you will find in the settings or on the box. Then look for a protector whose description names that model, because even similar models can have a different camera cut-out or screen shape.
