Power banks are portable batteries for charging phones, tablets, smartwatches and, in some cases, laptops when there is no socket nearby. Our range has over 1,000 models, from small pocket-sized units to higher-capacity batteries with several ports.

How to choose a power bank
Capacity. Capacity is given in mAh or Wh. A 10,000 mAh power bank usually charges an average phone about twice, because some energy is lost when the voltage is converted. If you also charge a tablet or laptop, choose a higher capacity, but expect a heavier and bulkier unit.
Output and fast charging. Many power banks in our range that list this feature support fast charging. A phone needs only moderate output, while a laptop needs USB Power Delivery and an output at least equal to its original charger. Check which fast-charging protocol your phone supports before you buy.
Ports and number of devices. Some models have a single USB Type-C port, others have two, and a few have three or four. Our range allows from one to five devices to be connected at once, most often two or three. If you charge a phone and earbuds together, pick at least two ports. When several devices are connected, the total output is usually shared between them.
Recharging the power bank. Most models recharge through USB Type-C, so the same cable as your phone's is enough. Older models use Micro-USB, and some have Lightning or a DC socket. A few models can also charge from the sun, but this is slow, so a solar panel works best as an emergency top-up on a trip.
Compatibility. Many of our power banks are listed as universal, others are meant for phones only, and a few cover tablets, smartwatches or laptops. If you want to charge a watch or earbuds, check that the power bank does not switch off when the current is very low.

Power bank FAQ
What capacity of power bank do I need for a phone?
For everyday use, a 10,000 mAh power bank is usually enough and charges a phone about twice. If you travel for several days or charge multiple devices, choose 20,000 mAh or more. Capacity also affects weight, so a smaller unit is easier to carry in a pocket.
Can I take a power bank on a plane?
Yes, but only in hand luggage, because lithium-ion batteries must not travel in the hold. Most airlines allow power banks up to 100 Wh without special approval, while larger ones need the airline's permission. Always confirm the exact rules with your carrier.
Will a power bank charge a laptop?
Only if it supports USB Power Delivery and has enough output power. Ideally the output should match your laptop's original charger. Low-power models designed for phones will usually not charge a laptop, or will do so very slowly.
Does fast charging damage a phone battery?
No, as long as you use a properly certified power bank and cable. The phone controls how much current it accepts, so a higher-output power bank will not overload it. For fast charging, the cable also needs to be rated for higher power.
