How to choose a robot vacuum cleaner
Navigation. Lidar-based navigation (LiDAR, LDS, D-ToF) lets the robot map your rooms and clean in rows, so it misses fewer spots. Most models in our range use it, and some add cameras and 3D sensors. Basic robots without mapping suit a single small room.
Suction power and mopping. Suction in our range runs from 10,000 Pa to 36,000 Pa. Higher suction matters most on carpets and with pet hair, while smooth floors need less. Many models also mop, but if your home has a lot of carpet, choose a robot that avoids carpets or lifts its mop pad.
Dust container and station. Many models have a bagless container that you empty by hand. A dust bag is more hygienic, but you have to keep buying bags. Some stations only charge the robot, while others also wash the mop pads.
Noise and battery. Quieter models state around 63-66 dB, louder ones 74-76 dB. Charging time in our range ranges from 2.5 to 6.5 hours. In a large flat, a robot that returns to charge and carries on cleaning is useful.

Frequently asked questions about robot vacuum cleaners
Can a robot vacuum replace a regular vacuum cleaner?
For everyday floor care it can, but not completely. A robot struggles with narrow corners, stairs and dust deep in carpet pile, so a regular vacuum cleaner still comes in handy now and then.
What is the difference between a vacuum-and-mop robot and a standard one?
A vacuum-and-mop robot has a water tank and a mop pad, so it clears dust and wipes the floor in a single run. Most models in our range can mop, while a smaller number only vacuum. They often remove old, dried-on stains only partly.
Do I need lidar navigation?
In a small flat with one or two rooms you do not, because simpler navigation is enough. In larger or multi-room homes lidar is more useful: the robot saves a map, cleans a chosen room and respects no-go zones.
Are robot vacuum cleaners noisy?
They are usually quieter than regular vacuum cleaners, especially in eco mode. Our range includes models rated at 63-66 dB and louder ones reaching 74-76 dB. Maximum suction power is generally noisier.
