How to choose a large TV
Size and viewing distance. The most common diagonal in our range is 75 inches (about 190 cm), followed by 85, 86 and 98 inches, and there are 100 inch models too. A 75 inch TV is roughly 1.65 m wide, so measure the wall or the TV unit before buying. Sit too close and you will be turning your head to take in the whole picture.
Panel type and brightness. In a bright room, high brightness and an anti-reflective coating matter most. In a dark room, OLED screens or LED models with local dimming zones look best. If you play on a console, check for HDMI 2.1 connections and a 120 Hz refresh rate.
Operating system. Our range includes Tizen, webOS, Google TV, VIDAA and Titan OS. They differ in menu logic and app selection, so check that the streaming apps you already use are available before you buy.
Sound and connections. Rated speaker power in our range runs from 10 to 70 W, most often 20 W. Thin cabinets rarely produce much bass, so a soundbar is worth considering for films. Many models have one or two USB 2.0 ports and DVB-T2, DVB-C and DVB-S2 tuners.
