Refurbished laptops are previously used machines sold on for a second life, mostly business-series models for office work, study and everyday computing. How to choose a refurbished laptop
Processor. For office work, web browsing and video calls, an Intel Core i5 is usually enough, while a Core i7 makes sense for heavier software. Check the generation too, as older processors may not meet the Windows 11 requirements. Our range includes newer models, such as the Dell Latitude 9430 with an Intel Core i7-1265U.
Memory and storage. For modern use, 16 GB of RAM is the comfortable level, although 8 GB can cope with simple tasks. Choose an SSD rather than a hard drive, and 512 GB leaves room for programs and documents. That combination of 16 GB and a 512 GB SSD is available in our range.
Condition and battery. A used laptop will always show some wear, so read the condition given in the product title or description (for example the USED label). Batteries lose capacity over time, which matters if you often work away from a socket.
Screen and operating system. A 14-inch Full HD screen is a practical size for a laptop you carry every day, while 15.6 inches suits a desk better. Some models come with Windows 11 Pro installed, so check whether the system is already set up before you buy.
