Computer mice for gaming and everyday desktop use: wired and wireless models with 3 to 8 buttons. The category suits PC gamers, players who want to try a mouse with a console, and anyone who needs a spare mouse for a work desk. Brands in our range include INCA, COUGAR, Conceptronic, MSI and ASUS.
How to choose a mouse
Connection and power. Wired models with a USB Type-A plug form the largest group in our range, with cables from 1.5 to 2 m long. They need no batteries or charging. Wireless mice connect through an RF receiver, Bluetooth or both, and some can also be connected with a USB Type-C cable.
Sensor resolution (DPI). Sensor resolution in our range runs from 1200 to 36000 DPI. A higher number does not automatically mean a better mouse: most players use a few hundred to a few thousand DPI, and very high values mainly help on large screens or multi-monitor setups. Being able to switch DPI with a button matters more than the maximum figure.
Number of buttons. Six buttons is the most common layout in our range: two main buttons, a scroll wheel and a pair of side buttons. Three buttons are enough for office work, while 7 or 8 are useful when you want to assign macros or extra actions in games.
Button durability. Manufacturers rate switches from 10 to 100 million clicks. If you click heavily in fast-paced games, choose a model rated for at least several tens of millions.
Size and compatibility. A mouse should sit comfortably in your hand, so check its shape and size. Some models list support for Windows 10 or Windows 11, so confirm your operating system before buying.

Frequently asked questions about mice
How many DPI do I need for a gaming mouse?
Most players are well served by 800 to 3200 DPI. Higher values help on large or multiple screens because the cursor travels further with less hand movement. Adjustable DPI and a stable sensor matter more than the highest number on the box.
Is a wired or wireless mouse better for gaming?
A wired mouse needs no charging or batteries and has no connection to drop. Modern wireless mice with an RF receiver respond very quickly and keep the desk tidier. Choose wired if you want to forget about batteries, and wireless if cable-free freedom matters more.
Can I use a mouse with a games console?
Some consoles accept a USB mouse in certain games or menus, but support depends on the console and the game. Check the console or game manual before buying. On a PC, a mouse works without such restrictions.
How many buttons should a gaming mouse have?
Six buttons are enough for most shooters and general use. For strategy or MMO games, a mouse with 7 or 8 buttons is worth considering, because the side buttons can be assigned to frequent actions. For office work, three buttons are sufficient.
