Phone replacement screens

Phone replacement screens

This category contains replacement phone screens for fixing a cracked or faulty display. Most are for Motorola and ASUS phones, with some for Samsung, Xiaomi and Google models. It suits people repairing their own phone as well as small repair workshops.

How to choose a phone screen

Exact model. A screen fits only the phone it was made for, so check the full model code, not just the series. Our range includes screens for the ZenFone 4 Max ZC554KL, ZenFone 3 Max ZC553KL, ZenFone Live ZB501KL and ROG Phone 2 ZS660KL, and even phones in the same series can use different screens.

Diagonal and screen type. The diagonal is set by the phone: our range runs from 5 inches (12.7 cm) up to 6.59 inches (16.7 cm), including 5.2, 5.5 and 6.3 inch sizes. It also helps to know whether the original is OLED or LCD. OLED shows deeper blacks, LCD is usually simpler, and fitting a different type can change how the picture looks.

Full module or panel only. Some screens are sold as a complete module with touch glass and frame, others as the panel alone. A module is easier to fit, while a bare panel needs more experience and tools, so read what is included before you buy.

Difficulty of the repair. On many modern phones the screen is glued down, and reaching the connectors means removing the back cover or disconnecting the battery. Without fine screwdrivers, plastic opening tools and some experience, a repair workshop is the safer option.

Brands you will find

  • Motorola: the largest part of our range, a brand known for its Moto G and Edge phone series.
  • ASUS: makes the ZenFone series and ROG Phone gaming phones, and our range also includes the ROG TwinView Dock 3 accessory.
  • Samsung: maker of Galaxy phones and one of the world's largest suppliers of OLED displays.
  • Xiaomi: known for its Redmi and Poco phone series, which come in many screen sizes.
  • Google: makes the Pixel phones, which run clean Android.

Also in our range: Nokia and Huawei screens.

Frequently asked questions about phone screens

How do I know which screen fits my phone?

You need the exact model code of your phone. You can find it in the settings under About phone or on the original box. Compare it with the compatibility given in the product description, for example ZenFone Live ZB501KL.

Can I replace a phone screen myself?

Yes, if you have the right tools and patience. On most phones you have to lift a glued screen, disconnect the battery and carefully release the flat ribbon cable. If you are unsure, a repair workshop is the safer choice.

What is the difference between OLED and LCD phone screens?

Each pixel on an OLED screen produces its own light, so blacks look deeper, while an LCD needs a backlight. OLED phones therefore often look more contrasty. When replacing a screen, choose the same type as the original.

Will a screen from one phone fit another model from the same brand?

Usually not. Even phones in the same series can differ in diagonal, connector position or frame shape. Check the full model name rather than the brand when you buy.
