Wireless keyboards

Wireless keyboards for the office, home and laptop use: full-size models with a number pad, smaller 75% and 60% layouts, keyboard and mouse sets, and keyboards designed for medical settings. Our range includes over 700 models, with brands such as Logitech, Cherry, HP, Dell and Lenovo.

How to choose a wireless keyboard

Connection type. Some models connect through a USB receiver (RF), others through Bluetooth, and some support both. A receiver takes up a USB port but usually works straight away with no setup. Bluetooth suits tablets and laptops short on free ports. Our range includes all three options.

Size. A full-size keyboard with a number pad is handy if you enter a lot of figures or work in spreadsheets. Tenkeyless and 75% models take up less desk space, which leaves more room for the mouse. Mini and 60% keyboards are easy to carry around, but some keys, such as the function row, are missing or only available through key combinations.

Power source. Keyboards run on AAA or AA batteries, a built-in rechargeable battery or, less often, a solar cell. Replaceable batteries can be swapped in a minute, while a rechargeable battery costs less to run but needs charging from time to time. Most of our keyboards use AAA batteries.

Typing feel and layout. Office keyboards usually have quiet membrane or scissor-switch keys, while mechanical keyboards give a more distinct keypress. Before buying, check that the model has Lithuanian letters and which key layout it uses.

Where it will be used. Keyboards for medical settings generally have a surface that is easy to wipe clean and disinfect. Our range includes such models, along with general-purpose keyboards for the office and home.

Brands we carry

• Logitech: the largest brand in our range, known for keyboards that pair with several devices and switch between them at the press of a key.
• Cherry: a German manufacturer famous for its Cherry MX mechanical switches, which also makes quiet office keyboards and keyboard and mouse sets.
• HP and Dell: mostly office keyboards, often sold together with a mouse and designed to go with these makers' computers.
• Lenovo: offers ThinkPad-style keyboards with a small TrackPoint nub in the middle, so you can move the cursor without leaving the keys.
• ASUS: better known for gaming hardware, so its keyboards often include features aimed at gamers.

Also in our range: Hama, Gembird, MediaRange, LogicKeyboard and Active Key.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a Bluetooth keyboard and one with a USB receiver?

A Bluetooth keyboard connects directly to the device and does not use a USB port, while a keyboard with a receiver needs a free USB port. A receiver often pairs faster and holds the connection more steadily, while Bluetooth is more convenient for tablets and laptops. Some models support both.

How long do the batteries in a wireless keyboard last?

It depends on the model, the connection type and whether there is backlighting. Keyboards without backlighting that run on AAA or AA batteries often last several months or longer. Backlit models with a built-in battery need charging more often, so it is worth checking the manufacturer's stated battery life before buying.

Is a wireless keyboard suitable for gaming?

Yes, provided it connects through an RF receiver or another fast wireless link, since Bluetooth can have higher latency. For gaming, mechanical switches and the ability to register several keys pressed at once also matter. Basic office keyboards generally do not meet these needs.

Can one wireless keyboard be used with several devices?

Yes, if it supports multi-device pairing over Bluetooth, or over RF and Bluetooth together. On these keyboards you switch devices with a dedicated key. Our range includes keyboards that connect through both an RF receiver and Bluetooth.
