How to choose an item tracker

Phone ecosystem. Many trackers work with only one system: Apple Find My (iPhone) or Google Find My Device (Android). Check which one a tracker supports before you buy, because a mismatched tag will not show up on your phone.

How it attaches. Keys need a loop or ring, while a wallet or passport holder suits a slim tag better. A plain round tag without a loop often needs a separate holder or case, so consider this in advance.

Battery. Most trackers use a replaceable coin cell that you can swap yourself. Such a tag runs for a long time without charging, whereas a rechargeable one has to be plugged in from time to time.

How it is located. A tag with a speaker rings when you are nearby, and further away a network of other devices on the same system helps locate it. Precise directional finding works only with compatible phones and tags, so check that separately.

Colour. Our range includes black and green models. Black is less conspicuous, while a brighter colour is easier to spot in a bag pocket or on a bunch of keys.
