The HSM shredstar X8 is a document shredder in silver with particle-cut shredding. It cuts paper into 4.5 x 30 mm particles and reaches security level P-4 for paper.

It shreds up to 8 sheets at a time and also handles staples, paper clips and credit cards. A separate mechanism is provided for shredding CDs.
