Description

The Honeywell HF811 is a built-in bar code reader designed to be integrated into a host device or system. It reads 2D bar codes.

The reader offers RS232, RS485 and Ethernet as standard interfaces, so it can be connected in different ways depending on the setup.

Its housing carries the IP65 international protection code, which describes how the enclosure is protected.

Because the reader is built in, it is intended for installation inside equipment rather than for handheld use. The combination of 2D scanning, the three standard interfaces and the IP65 protection code makes the HF811 suitable for setups where these properties are required.
