Tablets for watching video, reading, studying, drawing and working without a laptop. Our range has over 1,200 models: Android and Windows tablets, Apple iPads, and rugged devices for warehouses and retail. The best-represented brands are Apple, Samsung, Lenovo and Microsoft.
How to choose a tablet
Operating system. Android tablets make up most of our range, so they offer the most models and sizes. iPads run iPadOS, which works closely with other Apple devices. If you need full desktop programs such as Microsoft Office or specialist software, a Windows tablet is the better route.
Screen size. Our range runs from 8 inches to 14.6 inches. An 8-inch tablet is easy to hold in one hand and suits reading on the move, 10 and 11 inches work well for films and study, and 12 inches or more is more comfortable with a keyboard, for drawing, or for two windows side by side.
Memory and storage. For browsing and video, 4 or 6 GB of RAM is usually enough, while running several apps at once and gaming are better served by 8 GB or more. Our range includes models with 12 and 16 GB. Most users get by with 128 GB of storage, but 256 or 512 GB is worth choosing if you keep lots of video or large files. Check whether there is a memory card slot, as not every tablet has one.
Display type. IPS panels give stable colours and wide viewing angles. AMOLED screens have deeper blacks and higher contrast, which suits films. TFT screens are more common in simpler models, and if you plan to draw, check that the tablet supports a stylus.
Where you will use it. In a warehouse, outdoors or in a shop, choose a rugged tablet built to withstand knocks, dust and water. If you will use it away from Wi-Fi, pick a model with a SIM card slot (LTE or 5G).

Frequently asked questions
How is a tablet different from a laptop?
A tablet is lighter, controlled by touch and ready to use faster. A laptop is more comfortable for long typing sessions and demanding programs. A Windows tablet with a keyboard can fill both roles.
How much memory does a tablet need?
Most users are fine with 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. If you play games, run several apps at once or keep lots of video, choose at least 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
What size of tablet should I buy?
An 8-inch tablet suits reading and travel, while 10 or 11 inches is better for films, study and everyday use. For working with a keyboard or drawing, a 12-inch or larger screen is better because more content fits on it.
How is a rugged tablet different from a standard one?
A rugged tablet is designed to survive drops, dust and moisture, so it is used in warehouses, factories and outdoors. Such models are usually thicker and heavier than consumer tablets, but they stay usable for longer in demanding conditions.
