Full tower cases are made for demanding builds: gaming PCs, workstations and systems with liquid cooling. Our range includes over 25 models, among them cases from Thermaltake, Fractal Design, Corsair and Cooler Master.
They are larger than a typical mid tower, so they take bigger motherboards, long graphics cards and several drives.
How to choose a full tower case
Motherboard format. Most full tower cases take ATX boards, and many also accept the larger E-ATX format. If you are building a server or workstation platform, check the maximum supported format in the manufacturer's specification first.
Cooling. Large cases often allow a 360 mm or even 420 mm radiator at the front or top, but this depends on the model. Check how many fans are included and whether the radiator fits alongside your memory modules.
Component clearance. Look for the maximum graphics card length, CPU cooler height and power supply length in the specification. Even in a roomy case, a thick front radiator can reduce the space left for a long graphics card.
Airflow and noise. A mesh front lets more air through, so components usually run cooler. A solid, sound-dampened front reduces noise but needs more fans to move heat out. A tempered glass side panel shows off the components, but it does nothing for airflow.
Drives and connectors. Count the 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch drives you plan to install and check that the case has enough bays. The front panel matters too: a USB-C port is now more useful than an extra USB 2.0 one.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a full tower and a mid tower case?
A full tower is taller and wider, so it more often takes an E-ATX motherboard, larger radiators and more drives. A mid tower is perfectly adequate for most ATX gaming PCs. Choose the larger case when you need extra room for cooling or expansion.
Does a bigger case cool components better?
Not automatically. More internal space makes air circulation easier and allows more fans, but the result also depends on the front panel design and on the number and position of the fans. A closed case with a glass panel can run warmer than a smaller, well-ventilated one.
Will an E-ATX motherboard fit in a full tower?
Usually, but not in every model. The list of supported motherboard formats is in the product specification, and it is worth comparing it with the width and depth of your board. In some cases an E-ATX board covers the cable routing openings.
Do I need a full tower if I have only one graphics card?
Not necessarily. For a single graphics card and an air cooler, a mid tower is usually enough. A full tower makes sense if you plan a very long graphics card, a 360 mm or larger radiator, many drives or an E-ATX board.
