USB flash drives are for carrying files and moving them between computers, TVs and tablets. Our range has over 1000 models, from standard USB Type-A sticks to USB Type-C and dual-connector drives. You will find drives from SanDisk, Kingston, Intenso, Transcend and ADATA.
How to choose a USB flash drive
Capacity. For documents and photos, 32 or 64 GB is enough, while films, backups and software installers call for 128 GB or more. Our range runs from 16 to 512 GB, and 32, 64 and 128 GB are the capacities you will meet most often.
USB version. Most drives in our range are USB 3.2 Gen 1, which copies large files much faster than USB 2.0. USB 3.2 Gen 2 drives are fewer, but they make sense if you move big files often. Real speed also depends on the individual model and the port on your computer, so the version number alone does not tell the whole story.
Connector. USB Type-A works with most computers, TVs and car audio systems. If you mainly use a phone, a tablet or a laptop that only has USB Type-C ports, choose a USB Type-C drive or a dual model with both connectors.
Body design. Drives with a cap protect the connector, but the cap is easy to lose. Slide, swivel and capless designs have nothing to misplace, which makes them handier in a pocket or on a key ring.
Operating temperature. At home or in the office, a standard range such as 0 to 60 °C is fine. For a car, a warehouse or outdoor use, a wider range is worth having: our range includes drives rated for -25 to 85 °C.

Frequently asked questions
How much capacity do I need on a USB flash drive?
For everyday documents and photos, 32 or 64 GB is enough. If you copy films, videos or whole backup folders, 128 GB or more is the safer choice. Keep in mind that the free space you actually get is always a little lower than the stated capacity.
What is the difference between USB 2.0 and USB 3.2 drives?
A USB 3.2 drive can transfer data much faster than a USB 2.0 one, especially with large files. It also works in older USB ports, but then runs at the slower speed of that port. For small documents, the difference is barely noticeable.
Can I plug a USB flash drive into my phone?
Yes, if the phone has a USB Type-C port and supports USB storage (OTG). The easiest option is a USB Type-C drive or a dual model with both USB Type-A and USB Type-C connectors. Older phones may need a separate adapter.
Will a USB flash drive work in a car stereo or TV?
In most cases it will, but many cars and TVs read the FAT32 file system best, and FAT32 does not allow files larger than 4 GB. A car can get very hot in summer, so a drive with a wider operating temperature range is a sensible pick.
