How to choose a TV mount
VESA pattern. Look at the layout of the mounting holes on the back of your TV, for example 200 × 200 or 400 × 400 mm. The VESA range given in the mount's specification must cover your TV's measurements.
Screen size and weight. Every mount has a maximum load and a range of supported screen sizes. Leave a safety margin, especially for large OLED or QLED televisions, which can be heavy.
Mount type. A fixed mount holds the TV closest to the wall and suits straight-on viewing. A tilting mount lets you angle the screen down if it hangs above eye level, while a full-motion mount with an extending arm lets you turn the screen sideways. Ceiling and floor stands help when drilling into the wall is not an option.
Wall type. Concrete or brick needs different plugs from plasterboard, which usually calls for fixing into studs or using heavy-duty anchors. Check that the screws and plugs supplied suit your wall.
Colour. Most mounts in our range are black, and there are also silver, white and grey ones. A white mount is less noticeable against a light wall.

Frequently asked questions
How do I know if a mount will fit my TV?
Compare your TV's VESA hole pattern, weight and screen size with the mount's specification. All three must fall within the limits the mount states. You will find the VESA measurements in the TV manual, or you can measure the distance between the holes on the back.
What is the difference between a tilting and a full-motion mount?
A tilting mount only changes the screen angle up or down, while a full-motion mount also swivels the screen sideways. Tilting is enough if the TV hangs above eye level and you watch from one spot. Full-motion mounts usually stand further out from the wall and are harder to install.
Can I mount a TV on a plasterboard wall?
Yes, but only with the right fixings. Plasterboard alone will not hold a heavy screen, so the mount must be fixed to the studs behind the board or secured with anchors designed for heavy loads. If you are unsure, ask a professional installer.
How high should I hang a TV?
The centre of the screen should be roughly at eye level when you are seated. That is usually lower than people instinctively hang it. If the TV will still end up higher, choose a tilting mount.
