The InLine® MCIO x8 adapter cable enables the connection of an MCIO x8 (SFF-TA-1016) host connector to two MiniSAS-HD (SFF-8643) connectors. It supports the integration of existing MiniSAS-HD infrastructures into systems with a modern MCIO interface, thereby facilitating the integration of existing storage components.
The adapter cable is suitable for connecting SAS, SATA and Tri-Mode backplanes and can be used in server, storage and RAID systems. This allows existing storage solutions to be flexibly expanded or connected to current host interfaces without having to replace the existing backplane infrastructure.
The high-quality construction ensures reliable signal transmission, making the cable a suitable solution for professional storage and data centre environments. With lengths of 0.5 m, 0.75 m and 1 m available, there is a suitable variant for a variety of installation scenarios.
