The Teltonika PR5MEC21 is a 4-pin Power Adapter with I/O access. It is a specialized "pigtail" connector used to unlock the advanced input/output features of Teltonika routers.

Where it is used:

It is used in professional and industrial installations where you need more than just power. It allows you to connect external sensors or control devices directly through the router's power port.

• Vehicle Ignition Detection: Connecting the router to a vehicle’s ignition so it only turns on (or sends a notification) when the engine starts.

• Remote Control/Switching: Using the router to remotely open gates, barriers, or door locks via SMS or the RMS app.
