MINIS FORUM X1-470 AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 Barebone Computer

The MINIS FORUM X1-470 with an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 processor is a compact barebone computer that allows you to choose your own RAM and SSDs to suit your intended use. The metal chassis, measuring 128 × 126 × 52 mm and weighing approximately 0.6 kg, takes up very little desk space while offering a wide range of modern interfaces. The computer is equipped with, among other things, two DDR5 5600 MT/s SO-DIMM slots, two M.2 2280 NVMe slots, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, and HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.0, and USB4 ports, enabling the creation of an extensive multi-monitor setup.

Barebone version for custom configuration

The X1-470 barebone version is a good solution for those who want to decide for themselves on the amount of RAM and storage capacity. The computer features two SO-DIMM slots for DDR5 5600 MT/s modules and two M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 4.0 slots, allowing the configuration to be tailored for both everyday tasks and more demanding applications.

An Expandable Workstation with Up to Four Displays

The MINIS FORUM X1-470 allows you to set up a comfortable workstation that uses multiple monitors simultaneously. It features HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.0, and two USB4 ports; supported video resolutions can reach up to 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 120 Hz, depending on the port used, the monitor, and the configuration. Support for up to four screens is ideal for multitasking, content editing, data analysis, or setting up an extensive office workstation.

Fast Wired and Wireless Connectivity

A 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port handles network connectivity, enabling a fast and stable wired connection. Wi-Fi 7, in turn, allows you to use a modern wireless network without having to run an additional cable to your computer workstation. Bluetooth 5.4 makes it easy to connect compatible accessories, such as a keyboard, mouse, headphones, or other wireless devices.

A wide range of ports and expansion options

Despite its compact design, the computer features USB-A, USB4, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.0, RJ45 2.5G, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The rear USB4 port supports PD power delivery of up to 100 W on the input and up to 15 W on the output, while the front USB4 port can power compatible devices with up to 15 W. The design also supports the OCuLink interface via a compatible M.2 adapter, further expanding the computer’s expansion options.

Compact Metal Design with Built-in Audio

The metal chassis makes the X1-470 a good fit for setups where space-saving is a priority without sacrificing advanced functionality. The computer also features two built-in speakers and two microphones, so additional audio equipment isn’t always necessary for basic voice communication. Its compact size, extensive selection of ports, and the ability to choose your own memory and storage drives mean that this barebone version can be configured to suit specific needs.
