Redefine Your 8K Workflow: Edit Directly at Full Speed

Built for professional media creation, the D1 SSD Pro handles 8K RAW transfers with ease. Its sustained high-speed performance allows it to serve as a direct-edit external drive, enabling smooth, real-time editing and preview of multi-track 4K/8K projects in Final Cut Pro and Premiere—without proxies. Maximize your efficiency.

Lightning-Fast Transfer: 6GB in 1 Second

Utilizing Thunderbolt™ 5, the D1 SSD Pro delivers up to 80Gbps bandwidth with sequential read/write speeds of 7061 MB/s and 6816 MB/s. Transfer a 6GB file in about one second, drastically reducing wait times for video transfers, project loading, and final exports to supercharge your post-production workflow.
Tested with Samsung 990 PRO 4TB, Mac M4 Pro, AJA System Test.

Full Protocol Compatibility
Seamless Workflow Integration
The D1 SSD Pro is natively compatible with Thunderbolt™ 5/4/3, USB4, and USB 3.2/3.1/3.0, connecting seamlessly to MacBook, Windows laptops, and Linux hosts. It offers comprehensive compatibility with macOS, Windows, and Linux for efficient cross-platform collaboration.
For optimal performance, connect to a Thunderbolt (⚡) or USB4 port. If unrecognized, try another USB port typically resolves it.

Massive Storage, Up to 8TB

Featuring an NVMe M.2 2280 slot, the D1 SSD Pro supports SSDs up to 8TB for substantial local capacity. With native compatibility for PCIe Gen 3.0, 4.0, and the latest 5.0 NVMe protocols, it works seamlessly with current mainstream, cost-effective, high-capacity drives and is ready for future upgrades to PCIe 5.0 SSDs—ensuring your storage remains both capacious and technologically ahead.

Color-Coded Speed Indicator

The D1 SSD Pro features a smart diagnostic indicator for intuitive "visual diagnostics," automatically identifying the connected protocol status:
White Light: Connected via Thunderbolt™ 5/4/3 or USB4 for peak performance.
Orange Light: Connected via USB 3.2 or below for standard speeds.
No software needed—instantly identify your connection state and spot any speed bottlenecks.

Focus on Your Craft. Enjoy Silent Efficiency

Designed for fanless, quiet operation, the D1 SSD Pro features a full aluminum body that acts as an efficient heatsink, rapidly absorbing and dissipating heat. Even under heavy, sustained loads—like large file transfers or video editing—its extensive cooling surface maintains an ideal working temperature of approximately 36–49°C to prevent thermal throttling. This ensures quiet confidence, reliable, high-speed performance so you can focus entirely on your work.

Travel-Ready Protection

Included is a portable case that provides complete protection on the move. Its soft interior cushions against bumps and drops, while the tough shell guards against scrapes and crushing. Compact and easy to carry, it keeps your data safe wherever you go—in your daily commute bag or travel luggage—so you can work and create on the move with peace of mind.

Triple-Layer Protection for Hardware Security

It incorporates a three-tier hardware protection mechanism, designed to guard against electrical threats in demanding environments, comprehensively ensuring data integrity and device longevity.
Short-Circuit Protection: Monitors data ports in real time to prevent damage from cable faults or accidental contact.
Surge & Voltage Protection: Absorbs voltage spikes and surge currents, delivering stable operating voltage and resists grid fluctuations.
ESD Protection: Efficient static discharge design at the interface instantly redirects thousands of volts, preventing both latent and permanent damage caused by electrostatic discharge during plugging and unplugging.
Keep your high-speed storage safe and reliable.
