The InLine® USB data blocker with USB-A plug to USB-C socket protects modern USB-C devices from unwanted data access when charging via classic USB-A ports. The data lines are physically separated – no data transfer takes place. This makes the adapter ideal for use with chargers, USB hubs, or vehicle adapters with USB-A output, where secure charging without a data connection is required.
With its compact design, the adapter is easy to transport and can be used anywhere where mobile devices need to be charged via USB-A. It offers added security, especially in work environments, public institutions, or when traveling.
The adapter is compatible with all common USB-C devices—such as smartphones, tablets, or accessories—regardless of manufacturer or platform. The charging power is 5 V at 1.5 A, which is sufficient for many mobile applications.
